Thank You Markdown

Thank You Markdown

I recently remarked how I was learning Markdown to be able to build some documentation for a project at work. I’ve now spent a week where I’ve been writing in markdown for at least an hour a day. I like it. It has me excited to write again.

It reminds me of the first time I used a computer and saw my words go from my fingers to the screen. Back then it was on an old terminal based machine and I thought the experience was magical. I’ve enjoyed typing on the computer ever since.

The next time I felt that way was when the internet was invented and I realized that I could type and share my thoughts with the world.

Now I’m back to having a lot of those same feelings. Markdown is beautiful, clean, and elegant.

It feels beautiful to type in the format once again.
